Jerusalem Travails AD 70 approx.
Question: In Luke 21:20-24, upon whom do the Scriptures say the Lord is taking vengeance at the end of the Age?
IMO; the ones suffering, are the population of Jerusalem and surrounds, in AD70 approx.; for their rejection of Jesus the Christ!
Had they accepted the Lord when Paul finally declared Him in Rome, Paul would not have made the declaration of “Lo-Ammi”; which was prophesied in Isa. 6:9–10!
Had the Jews not reneged in Acts; the Lord would have returned, and “John the Baptist” would have “been as Elijah”!
Now; all await the events of Zech.12:10; and that will be the return of Israel to “Ammi”; and the Lord will return and the events of Ezek. 39:21–29 will be defacto!
